# Publishing & Deployment

> Learn how to publish and deploy your apps on Stardeck

## Overview

Stardeck makes it easy to deploy your web applications directly from your dashboard. Once deployed, your apps are automatically accessible on the web with SSL certificates and fast global delivery.

## Default App URLs

When you publish an app on Stardeck, it automatically becomes accessible at:

```
https://app-slug.stardeck.site
```

Where `app-slug` is your app's unique identifier that you set when creating the app. This URL is:

* **Automatically secured** with SSL certificates
* **Globally distributed** for fast loading times
* **Always available** as long as your app is published

## Publishing Your App

### From the Dashboard

1. **Navigate to your app** in the Stardeck dashboard
2. **Open app settings** by clicking the settings icon
3. **Go to the [Deployment tab](https://www.stardeck.ai/projects/~/dashboard/hosting/production)**
4. **Click "Publish"** to deploy your app live

### Automatic Deployments

Once published, Stardeck automatically:

* **Builds your app** using the appropriate build process
* **Deploys to production** with zero downtime
* **Provisions SSL certificates** for secure HTTPS access
* **Distributes globally** across our content delivery network
